Nestled within a small traditional German town, the 4,250 sqft (395 m2) museum with a café adopts the local architectural language while embedding gestures hidden behind its veil. The corten steel facade embraces the uniformity of its surroundings while emulating the light wooden structures and heavy stone bases typical of the area. The traditional roof is fitted with a skylight, a subtle gesture only visible to the discerning observer
